The Sticky-Note Sprint: A Simple Weekly System for Creative Work

Why Paper Still Wins

When ideas need to be seen, moved, and merged, paper beats apps. This 30-minute sprint is perfect for makers and multitaskers.

The 30-Minute Sprint

Step 1 — Dump (5 min): one note per task, no judgment.
Step 2 — Group (5 min): cluster by context—deep work, comms, nitty-gritty, ideas.
Step 3 — Pick Three (5 min): choose three high-impact outcomes for the week; park the rest.
Step 4 — Block (10 min): place notes on specific time blocks and add a clear Done definition (e.g., “1200-word draft complete”).

Daily Flow (10 minutes)

Move notes to today → run two pomodoros → move finished notes to the Win Zone. If interrupted, slide the note to Tomorrow and write the next physical step.

End-of-Week Review

Count wins at a glance. Keep one or two reflection notes: what slowed you down, and how will you simplify next week? Move unfinished notes straight into the next sprint.
